I am a single mom and I just visited Indigo Joe’s for the first time. I had driven by the restaurant many times before and never stopped in because I wasn’t sure it would be child-appropriate being that it said “Sports Pub & Restaurant on the sign. I couldn’t have been more mistaken! We thoroughly enjoyed the food and I was delighted to see that there was a kids menu and a game room that kept both my toddler and pre-teen daughters busy while we waited for our food to be served. There were sports playing on many of the screens, but the manager, seeing my young children, took it upon himself to put Nickelodeon on a smaller screen just for us! We even got a speaker box so that they could hear their cartoon. I have told several of my friends with children that Indigo Joe’s is a perfect place for parents to eat and be able to relax without fidgety kids asking to leave!

I am a die-hard sports fan and I must say I found Indigo Joe’s to be the best place for viewing games! It seems that someone really designed this place with the sports fan in mind. Even though the place was packed and the only table left was toward the back of the restaurant, my friends and I had a full view of the video wall as well as some large plasma TV’s off to the side. I was able to watch several games at once and still keep half an eye on the Sports Center ticker for games that ended earlier in the day. The manager asked me if I wanted a speaker box for a particular game. I have never seen these before! We were able to flip through channels and listen to just about any of the games being televised. What a great idea! Now, if I could just get my friends to agree on which game we listen to!

I don’t usually fill out comment cards, but my server left one with the check last night and I decided what the heck! I have been coming in to Indigo Joe’s for about 6 months now. I guess you could call me a “regular” because I come in about 4 times a week; more if my wife lets me out on the weekend! This is my place to relax after work and, since I get off at 3:00pm, I am really glad that you have an earlier-than-usual happy hour! The service is always great and the drink prices are reasonable. I don’t always get something to eat, but when I do it’s usually the Bacon-Cheese Burger. Indigo’s has the best fries in town!

I met one of my friends at Indigo Joe’s for dinner recently. He brought his teenage son with him and afterward I wished that I had brought mine! Great food, reasonable prices, and you don’t have to feel bad about bringing the family. Indigo Joe’s is not just a place for sports enthusiasts, though I’m sure that it’s ideal for them too. To me, it seems like Indigo Joe’s is a restaurant first, sports bar second. While we were eating, I could see younger kids than mine playing in the game room or watching cartoons on the booth televisions. What a great set-up! I will definitely be back with my family!

I have to say, I was a little unsure about going to Indigo Joe’s for happy hour. My girlfriends and I go out after work on Friday nights and we take turns picking where to go. Julie picked Indigo Joe’s last week. I thought it was going to be a bunch of sports nuts and loud games blaring so I didn’t think we would fit in at first. I couldn’t have been more wrong! We sat on the patio near the fire pit which made for a really nice atmosphere. There were televisions even on the patio, but it wasn’t loud or intrusive. We were able to talk and have a great time and didn’t feel rushed even though the place was packed. BTW, the Mexican Chicken Salad was great! Most of us had salads but even the burgers looked great. I will definitely be back when it is my turn to pick!
