about becoming an Indigo Joe’s Franchisee, so we took
the time to answer some of the more
Frequently Asked Questions here.

Must I buy my equipment from you?
No. Furniture, fixtures and equipment necessary for your
business may be purchased from any franchisor approved
suppliers and/or manufacturers.

Do I receive guidance on the purchase of inventory/supplies?
Yes. High quality products are the cornerstone of this
business. Our Purchasing Department offers support and
guidance in choosing a high quality supplier at competitive
rates that meet or exceed our standards.

Do I receive training by Indigo Joe’s?
Yes. We require successful completion of our 6-week training
program designed for all franchisees and one to two
management personnel. The training program is to be
conducted at one of our designated training locations.

Do I receive assistance in opening my business?
Yes. In addition to the initial training program, Indigo Joe's
Corporate Training Team will be sent to your location to
conduct pre-opening training for 7 days prior to the date
you open, and will stay for 7 days after opening to offer
continued support.

What form of continuing operational guidance will I receive?
Indigo Joe's will provide you with our confidential Operations
Manual which covers in detail the many facets of restaurant
operations. Updates to this manual will be sent to you as they
are implemented. Periodically, your location will be visited
by our field representatives to insure smooth operations and
offer counsel and advice to you and your staff. In our
commitment to offer superior support to our franchisees, our
Franchise Support Department is available, by phone,
to answer any questions that may arise.

What is the term of my franchise agreement?
The initial term is for a period of 10 years, after which you can
renew in 10 year increments pursuant to the Franchise
Agreement and lease availability.

Will my territory be protected?
Yes. Each franchisee is allocated an area exclusive of any
other franchise location.

Can I sell my Indigo Joe's franchise?
Yes. Your business may be sold to any buyer approved by
Indigo Joe's.  There is a transfer fee, which covers
administrative, legal and other related expenses.

Does Indigo Joe’s help with site selection?
Yes. We will work with you in your search for an available site
by recommending a commercial real estate broker already
familiar with the Indigo Joe's demographics.  We will then offer
assistance in site analysis and site selection.

How much profit can I expect to make?
We do not make earnings claims. The amount you could make
is based on many variables such as: retail sales, sales
margins, cost of goods sold, location, fixed costs, variable
costs, operating costs, financing costs and other factors. We
encourage you to contact our existing franchisees to
conduct your due diligence research.
 
What is the charge for continuing service and royalty?
5% of Gross Sales.

What about advertising?
Advertising is essential in building the reputation and brand
recognition of the Indigo Joe's name, which, in turn,
benefits all franchisees. For this purpose, each franchisee
contributes 1.5% of gross receipts into the Marketing Fund.

What is the total investment for an Indigo Joe’s?
Investments vary, depending on the size, location, market,and
on other factors such as whether it is a free-standing building
or a strip center location.

How do I get started?
First, fill out the Franchise Pre-Evaluation Form and submit it
to us. Upon receipt of the application, you will be contacted
by one of our representatives to discuss the Indigo Joe's
franchise opportunity.
